Captain Mark recently donated his time, boat, tackle and bait to support the Al Hubbard Kids Fishing Experience.

Very enthusiastic when it comes to introducing kids to fishing, we asked the Captain to answer a couple of questions for us:

When did you realize your fondness for fishing?

Living in Alabama as a young child, it started with the excitement and anticipation of planning trips to fish the rivers and bays around Apalachicola with my Dad and Grandfather.  This was an opportunity to "Male Bond" at an early age with the men who were influential in my life and my desire to fish.  Looking back today I have a great appreciation for the patience they took in teaching me how to tie knots and bait my own hooks.  As I grew older, so did the passion to learn and respect the sport of fishing even more.

What are your credentials?

a.  USCG Licensed Captain

b.  Over 20 years flats fishing experience

c.  Over 10 years experience along the forgotten coast

Why fish with Forgotten Coast Adventures?

I have fished all over the Southeastern United States, with many fine fisherman and Guides.  Some great experiences and some not so good.  I try to conduct my trips to the level of my guest, and meet their needs...Not the other way around.
